DJ JAM is based in Paarl, Western Cape. We deliver top-quality sound and effect lighting for Weddings, Birthdays, Corporate Functions, Events and School dances.
If you'd like to meet the DJ before your event, we recommend scheduling the meeting at Durbanville or Paarl. A virtual meeting can also be arranged. However, an additional cost will be included in your quote if you prefer the meeting to be at the venue or any other location.
A 20% non-refundable booking fee is necessary to confirm your reservation. Please be aware that this booking fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation. The remaining balance must be settled and paid in full one week before the event.
We do not make provision for load-shedding. The client must check if the venue has backup power suitable for powering professional DJ sound & lighting equipment.
It is required to arrange meals for the DJ and their assistant on the event day.
The client accepts full responsibility for any damages incurred to the equipment during the event and will be held liable for such damages.
DJ Services provided after 24:00 will incur an additional fee per hour as indicated on your quotation.
A travelling rate (AA rate) will apply as mentioned in the quote to and from the venue.
If the venue is located more than 60 minutes away from Paarl, Western Cape, safe accommodation must be provided for the DJ, assistant DJ, and equipment.
Ensure a table with a tablecloth is prepared on the event day for the setup.
Place the DJ near the dancefloor for technical reasons and better engagement with your guests.
Additionally, inform the venue about the availability of a power outlet near the DJ table.
The setup will start 90-120 minutes before the event.
